About Washington Warm Line

The Washington Warm Line provides peer to peer support to anyone in need of it. The Washington Warm Line is open 7 days a week from 9am-10pm PST. All volunteers are trained in peer support and trauma informed practices. Volunteers utilize their lived experience with mental health and/or substance use to support callers and build rapport. Most frequently, we act as a social support for those who are isolated, lonely, or just in need of a caring ear. We have experience with chronic suicidal ideation and other thoughts of harm as well as interpersonal challenges and family conflict.
