Struggling with stress? Reach out to a hotline in Ontario, Canada for free support

When you don't deal with stress in a healthy way, it can build up and start to negatively impact your life. You may find it harder to cope with everyday responsibilities. Fortunately, help is available from 31 hotlines in Ontario, Canada. Stress can look like:

  • Poor self-care and not taking time out for yourself.
  • Pulling back from your loved ones.
  • Difficulty breathing, wheezing, or shortness of breath.
  • High blood pressure and hypertension.
  • You easily forget things.
  • Constantly worrying about something.
  • Difficulty concentrating and focusing.
  • Teeth grinding and clenching jaw.

When you're under a lot of stress, pressure and tension build up and life can suddenly feel unmanageable. It can be scary when it feel like things are beyond your control. However, there are healthy ways to manage stress that can ease the pressure and help you cope.
