Thinking about suicide? Contacting a suicide hotline in Estonia can help.

Suicidal thoughts can affect anyone. They are more common than you might think, which is why there are 2 suicide hotlines (or helplines and crisis lines) in Estonia that can offer help to anyone struggling with feeling suicidal. Suicidal thoughts might involve:

  • Making plans for ending your life
  • Feeling like you can't cope with the pain anymore
  • Losing your motivation to keep going
  • Feeling like you don't deserve to go on
  • Thinking you're going to feel this way forever
  • Looking up information about how to kill yourself
  • Not wanting to be alive anymore
  • A sense of finality, as if there is no other choice

Feeling suicidal suggests that you're experiencing serious emotional distress. When you're flooded with strong negative emotions, it may seem like there are no solutions to your problems. Taking your life is not the way out, there are other ways to end the pain you're feeling.

How you're feeling is completely okay. There is nothing wrong with you for feeling or thinking how you do. It may be difficult to talk about what you're experiencing, but there are patient crisis line counselors and volunteers in Estonia who want to listen and help you.

If you feel like you might need support with thoughts of suicide, try reaching out to a hotline in Estonia. It's free and confidential.
