Extreme stress can seriously impact your mental health and quality of life. If you're feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope with your responsibilities, help is available. You can get support from 15 helplines in Hong Kong. Reach out if you're experiencing any of the following:

  • Constantly worrying about something.
  • Physical aches, tense muscles, and pains.
  • Difficulty breathing, wheezing, or shortness of breath.
  • You easily forget things.
  • Digestive issues that result in diarrhea, constipation, heart burn, or digestive disorders.
  • Pulling back from your loved ones.
  • Dry mouth and trouble swallowing anything.
  • High blood pressure and hypertension.

It's hard to relax and switch off when your mind is racing with thoughts about work, relationships, family, finances and anything else that's stressing you out. The worry and fear you experience consumes a lot of mental energy, making it hard to keep up with life's demands. However, there are healthy ways to cope.
