Dementia and Alzheimer's might sound scary and confusing. You might have a lot of questions and doubts about how you will cope with the diagnosis. Fortunately, there are 1 hotlines in Iceland that provide support with dementia and Alzheimer's, where you can get free support. Dementia and Alzheimer's can look like:

  • You become paranoid and feel like everyone is working against you
  • Diminishing interest in things you used to enjoy
  • Losing balance and falling easily
  • Taking longer to complete tasks you perform regularly
  • Finding yourself repeating questions when you are asked something so that you can focus better
