Struggling with trauma and PTSD? Contact a free helpline in Malaysia for support

If you have been through a traumatic experience affecting your life, know that you don’t have to go through it alone. Reach out to one of 9 helplines across Malaysia. If you aren’t sure if you have PTSD, then read through these common symptoms and see if you can relate:

  • Overwhelming negative emotions such as guilt, shame, sadness and anxiety
  • Being easily angered or upset
  • Frequent nightmares and disturbed sleep patterns
  • Continued negative thoughts about a traumatic experience
  • Feeling like nobody will understand what you are going through
  • Repetitive thoughts about how you could have changed or avoided the traumatic event
  • Becoming isolated, withdrawn and avoiding social situations
  • Feelings of guilt or shame about a traumatic event

If you have any of these symptoms, reach out for help – you don’t have to be alone in your struggle. There is hope on the horizon and people who understand what you are going through.

Even though going through trauma and PTSD can feel very isolating and scary, there are people in Malaysia who are here to help. Sharing how you feel is the first step towards recovery. You don’t have to face your fears alone.

If you feel like you might need support with trauma and PTSD, try reaching out to a hotline in Malaysia. It's free and confidential.
