Find healing after a significant loss. Contact a grief support hotline in Poland

Healing after a loss takes time. The pain of the loss can feel so intense that you don't know how to cope or where to turn. Talking openly about the loss can help you feel better. In Poland there are 9 support lines you can contact. Grieving can look like:

  • Feeling emotionally unstable, like you're on an emotional rollercoaster
  • An inability to find pleasure in the activities you used to enjoy
  • Difficulty admitting to yourself that the person or thing you lost is really gone
  • Relief if your lost loved one had a painful or debilitating illness
  • If you are religious, you may start to question your faith
  • Anger and blame directed toward yourself, others, or God for not preventing the loss
  • Withdrawal from others and wanting to be alone
  • Complete shock and feeling that the loss is not real

Grief is a very subjective experience and there is no typical way to grieve. However, most people find that they experience several different emotions. This can feel confusing and scary.

You may feel that nobody will be able to relate to how you're feeling. However, there are people in Poland who are open to hearing about your experiences and they want to support you. Talking openly about how you feel and having someone to listen to you can help you feel less alone.

If you are ready to talk to someone about grief or loss, you can contact a hotline in Poland for free and confidential support.
