Reach out today to connect with someone who understands how lonely and afraid you feel. If you resonate with any of the following, seek support from a helpline near you:

  • You have had rumours spread about you, or frequently been blamed for things you didn’t do.
  • You have been trolled, insulted or humiliated on social media.
  • Others have openly left you out of friendship groups and activities in a shaming way.
  • Someone has shared private, negative, false or harmful pictures, content or rumours about you.
  • A popular or forceful person has told others not to be friends with you.
  • One or more people have repeatedly sworn at, called names, taunted or physically harassed you.
  • Someone has made repeated negative comments about your appearance, culture, family, lifestyle or behaviour.
  • Others have victimised you through cyber-bullying on social media, gaming platforms and online forums.

There are countless ways in which bullies can victimise others. Some are public and overt, while others are private and covert. Although you might feel rejected, self-conscious and afraid, you are not alone. Bullying is never a true reflection of who you are, how you look, or your life’s potential.
