Need help making a decision about an unplanned pregnancy? Reach out to a hotline in Illinois, United States.

If you're pregnant and it was unplanned, you're not alone. Many women will experience an unplanned pregnancy in their lifetimes. There are 10 helplines in Illinois, United States that you can call today to get advice and support. If you relate to any of the following, reach out for help:

  • Feeling both positive and negative emotions at the thought of going through with the pregnancy.
  • Feeling overwhelmed by all the options and having to make a decision.
  • Feeling indecisive and like there is no ideal solution.
  • Being concerned about how you may be treated by healthcare staff.
  • Anger directed toward yourself or your partner for the pregnancy.
  • Worried about how going through with the pregnancy will affect your future vision.
  • Experiencing a sense of urgency, like you need to make a decision as soon as possible.
  • Feeling anxious about how your body and health will be affected depending on your choice.

You may have mixed emotions about your pregnancy, or your emotions may be very clear to you. Every woman's experience is unique and there's no right or wrong way to feel. Your choice is personal and it's a hundred percent yours.

Finding out you're pregnant when it wasn't planned can put you in a difficult position. If you're not ready to tell anyone about it, you may feel alone.
