Get free support from a suicide hotline in Pennsylvania, United States

If you're experiencing suicidal thoughts, you're not alone. Suicidal thoughts aren't talked about very much, but many people experience them during their lives. There are 10 suicide hotlines (crisis lines or helplines) in Pennsylvania, United States that can help. If you're not sure what suicidal thoughts look like, they might look like any of the following:

  • Feeling like your life has already ended
  • Feeling trapped or stuck
  • Fascination with the concept of death and dying
  • Losing your motivation to keep going
  • Having urges to hurt yourself
  • Looking up information about how to kill yourself
  • Feeling unwanted or like a burden to others
  • Thinking there is nothing worth living for

Experiencing suicidal feelings is a response to intense emotional pain that feels impossible to escape from. It's not uncommon to feel that nothing can be solved when you're emotionally overwhelmed. However, with the right support, you can end your emotional suffering without having to end your life.

You may be concerned that nobody will understand what you're going through, but helpline volunteers in Pennsylvania, United States are specially trained to offer support to people in an emotional crisis.
