About الخط الأخضر 1899 للإنصات والإرشاد وتوجيه النساء ضحايا العنف | Ligne verte pour signaler et combattre la violence

English: Green Line 1899 is a nationwide, 24/7 helpline in Tunisia dedicated to supporting women who are victims of violence. Managed by the National Observatory to Combat Violence Against Women, the line provides confidential assistance in Arabic and French, offering a safe and accessible space for women seeking help. The helpline addresses all forms of gender-based violence as defined by Basic Law No. 58 of 2017, including physical, moral, economic, sexual, political, and institutional violence. It also supports women experiencing domestic or marital violence, as well as violence in digital spaces. Services include active listening, psychological support, legal guidance, and referrals to relevant institutions. In serious cases, the team may also provide coordinated follow-up support. Calls are answered by trained staff, most of whom are psychologists, ensuring compassionate and professional care. The service is inclusive and accessible, with alternative reporting methods available for women with hearing disabilities via a written form on the Observatory’s website. Additionally, support is available through the Observatory’s official website and social media channels. For more information, visit www.observatoire-violence-femmes.tn or call 1899.
