About Advocates Against Domestic Abuse Helpline (AADA)

We are a registered charity created to offer services that provide support, advice, counselling and advocacy for victims of domestic abuse/violence while educating the wider community so that zero tolerance can be achieved. We engage and educate the public through workshops and programs dealing with this topic.

We have a 24hrs helpline. We offer counselling and support via the phone or face-to-face with a counsellor, or we refer persons to other organisations that can help in ways we are unable to. We also assist with clothing, food items, court, welfare, and social services. We assist people in seeking employment, writing cv’s and locating somewhere to live. Our services extend to working with the police and courts.

Our services are free, with a focus mainly on people living in Barbados.
