Ora de net is a unique European program in Romania that promotes the use of the Internet by children and adolescents in a creative, useful and safe way. To achieve our goal: We organize training activities and develop educational resources for parents, teachers and specialists. We offer support – at ctrl_AJUTOR you can ask any question related to the internet or using our team's technology. We offer a reporting line – at esc_ABUZ you can report illegal harmful content you encounter and help build a safer Internet. We coordinate a large network of volunteers – teachers and specialists working with children – who implement educational activities at the national level We have been present in Romania since 2008, when we launched the project under the name Sigur.info, and since 2016 we have continued with the identity we know today: Ora de Net . During this time, over 650,000 children and 175,000 parents and teachers have been directly involved in educational activities. We have provided personalized information for 11,200 children and processed over 30,500 complaints through the specialized reporting line. What are we proud of? We are members of the international networks Insafe and INHOPE , the largest coalitions that promote the principles of digital citizenship worldwide and contribute to the development of a useful and safe Internet for children.
