Respect Phoneline is a confidential helpline, email and web chat service for anyone who’s concerned about their use of violence and abuse in relationships, and for those supporting them: friends or family members and Frontline Staff working with those causing harm, are welcome to call us for information and support. Our team of friendly Advisors will listen to you without judgement and are available to offer confidential and honest advice to help you understand use of violence and abuse is a choice, steps to manage your behaviour and signposting to programmes that can help you to change. We can support and advise people from anywhere in the UK.
Respect Phoneline’s number is free to call from landlines and mobile phones within the UK, and do not appear on itemised bills and protects your confidentiality. Phoneline’s Advisors are trained to use Relay UK (Previously Next Generation Text) so people with hearing and speech difficulties can communicate with us. If English is not your first language we offer a telephone interpreting service with access to over 200 languages.
