About SNAP (Cymru) Helpline

SNAP Cymru helpline offers free, independent and impartial information and advice to parents, children, young people and professionals regarding additional learning needs and educational concerns.

We can help all families, children and young people who live in Wales who have, or may have, Additional Learning Needs, including Special Educational Needs or Disabilities and other barriers to education.

We give advice and support on a range of issues including assessments, individual development plans, bullying, school attendance, exclusion and discrimination within education.

When you contact us you will talk with one of our trained and supportive advisors who will listen to you with empathy and understanding and work together with you to find a meaningful way forward.

SNAP Cymru has worked to facilitate partnership for over 36 years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience. We hold the Legal Aid Agency’s Specialist Quality Mark, Investing in Volunteers Quality Mark and were awarded The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Award for Voluntary Service.
