The "Telefono Rosa" telephone switchboard is open 24/7. It is staffed by volunteers, all experienced in listening to and caring for women victims of violence, thanks in part to their attendance at various training courses organized by the Association. For each woman, they anonymously complete a detailed form with all the information regarding the victim, what happened, any interventions already requested (emergency room, law enforcement, etc.), and information about the perpetrator (age, role in the victim's life, substance abuse, etc.). These completed forms allow the "Telefono Rosa" to act as a true observatory on violence, thus monitoring changes in this phenomenon over time. Each year, the research "The Secret Voices of Violence," developed in collaboration with the SWG of Trieste, is published.
