The Addiction Helpline (1-866-332-2322) is a confidential telephone services that are open 24/7/365 for Albertans in any area of the province who want help with an addiction or mental health concern, including: • Crisis support • Mental health or addiction screening and assessment over the phone • General information about a mental health or addiction topic • Information about local service options for addiction or mental health and how to access them • Advice about strategies people can use at home to support their emotional well-being All calls are answered by a team of addiction and mental health professionals (nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, addictions counsellors).
