DBHS Crisis Helpline (Bedford & Somerset Counties) offers 24/7, free, compassionate and confidential support over phone. We help everyone in Pennsylvania, United States who may be experiencing emotional distress related to self-harm, suicide, supporting a friend or family member.

Regardless of what you're experiencing, whether it's a mental health crisis or wellbeing support, we will support you, for free. We are dedicated to preventing suicide. If you are contemplating suicide or wanting to kill yourself, we will listen without judgment and support you.

When you contact us you will talk with one of our trained counselors who will listen to you with empathy and understanding, and work together with you to find a meaningful way foward. They are experienced in knowing how to help people who have challenges like what you are going through. Anyone may call and get support.
