If you are aged 12 to 21 and are facing family violence (physical, psychological, or sexual abuse), Meederchershaus offers a safe refuge in urgent situations of acute psychosocial crisis. The shelter is open around the clock, and its location is kept secret to protect your safety. You will receive emotional, social, educational, medical, and legal support. The boarding is up to three months, during which staff work with you on your personal history and help you plan for a safer future. Support is also offered for your family: meetings and counseling aim to address violence, improve communication, and prepare for the possibility of returning home or establishing safe arrangements.
