Youth Advocates is a youth-led organisation working to advance adolescents’ rights and amplify their voices where it matters. Youth Advocates continues building on extensive experience leading youth led research projects within the development field, ideally pioneering programs partnering with the local communities. Our YAZ helpline offers critical support to young people across Zimbabwe, providing a safe, confidential space for youth to seek help on various issues including mental health, education, sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence, and substance abuse. Launched in 2017, the helpline is easily accessible via short code 393 on any mobile network, ensuring that support is just a message away. YAZ is dedicated to empowering and advocating for the rights of young Zimbabweans, offering expert advice and connecting them to relevant services for their well-being.
