Are family matters negatively impacting on your life? Reach out to a hotline for free support in Chile

Families can be complicated. If personality clashes, violence, substance use, illness, trauma or other problems at home are causing you fear, stress or pain, you are not alone. There are 6 hotlines in Chile for people struggling with family issues. If you are experiencing any of the following, reach out for a helping hand today:

  • Family issues around domestic violence, sexual abuse, divorce, bereavement or trauma.
  • Trauma or loss of a loved one and its after effects on your family.
  • Job loss, financial struggles or gambling and the impact these can have on your family.
  • Co-dependency, in which a family member relies on you for emotional, mental or physical support.
  • Stress in the family, caused by issues with housing, money or unemployment.
  • Serious family issues such as divorce, addiction, loss of a family member, or sexual abuse.
  • A family member suffering from disability, illness or mental health problems.
  • Problems such as consistent rivalry, mistrust or personality clashes between any of your family members.

Without a warm, loving and safe home to return to at the end of the day, life can seem cold, dark and lonely. Home may not feel like home at all to you. Feeling like you need to avoid your family at all costs can be a horrible position to be in.

If your problems at home are following you out the door, you're not alone. Many people who experience family conflict find it difficult to cope. The good news is that help is available in Chile. You can speak to a crisis line counselor and get free, confidential support whenever you're ready.
