de Luisterlijn offers 24/7, free, compassionate and confidential support over phone and online chat. We are here to help adults in Netherlands who may need emotional support with abuse & domestic violence, anxiety, bullying, Dementia & Alzheimer's, depression, eating & body image, family issues, gambling, gender & sexual identity, grief & loss, loneliness, parenting, pregnancy & abortion, relationships, school or work issues, self-harm, sexual abuse, stress, substance use, suicide, supporting a friend or family member, physical illness, trauma & PTSD.

People call us for many different mental health, crisis and behavioral health reasons. Regardless of what you are experiencing, we can support you. Talking with us is free. As part of our commitment to preventing suicide, we are available to help you if you are considering suicide or harming yourself, or if you are noticing warning signs in a friend or family member

When you reach out to us you will talk with one of our trained and supportive volunteers who will listen to you with empathy and understanding, and work together with you to find a meaningful way foward. They are experienced in knowing how to help people who have challenges like what you are going through. We are open 24 hours a day, every day of the week. We are always available to talk with you.

De chat is open van 10:00 uur tot 22:00 uur. De Luisterlijn voert gesprekken in het Nederlands. Als een vrijwilliger het wil en kan mag het gesprek in een andere taal gevoerd worden, maar dat is aan de vrijwilliger. Chat is available 10:00 to 22:00. The Listen Line conducts conversations in Dutch. If a volunteer is willing and able, the conversation may be held in another language, but that is up to the volunteer.
