About Self Injury Support

Self Injury Helpline offers free, compassionate and confidential support over phone and text. We are here to help people in the United Kingdom who may be experiencing emotional distress related to self-harm.

When you reach out to us you will talk with one of our trained volunteers who are experienced in how to help people in your situation. They will listen to you, help you explore your story and feelings, and support you in any decisions you choose to make.

What can I talk to Self Injury Support about?

Our listening services are for people of all genders and ages who are or have been impacted by self-injury in any way, whether their own or someone else's. We are confidential, anonymous, and non-judgemental and offer emotional support. On Mondays our services are staffed by people of all genders, and on Thursdays are staffed by women only, but anyone of any gender is welcome to contact us on both nights. Calls are free and texts are charged at standard rate.
