STAR Crisis Line offers 24/7, free and confidential support and information by phone. We help everyone in Alaska, United States who may be experiencing emotional distress related to abuse & domestic violence, sexual abuse, supporting a friend or family member, trauma & PTSD.

When you contact us you will talk with one of our trained and supportive counselors or volunteers who are experienced in how to help people in your situation. They will listen to you, unpack your story and feelings, and work with you to help you through your challenges. Anyone can contact us, regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity or religious beliefs. We are always open. You can contact us for free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
