Finding it difficult to raise your children? Get support for parenting difficulties from a hotline in France

How you parent makes a big difference not just to your children today, but to how they will be in the future too. This can be a major pressure for any parent. If this is you, help is available. Volunteers and counselors at 13 parenting hotlines in France are there to listen and help you if you are struggling with:

  • Not having enough time for quality parenting
  • Feeling overwhelmed with contradicting information about parenting you receive
  • Wanting to pass on the right traditions
  • You feel you might be approaching burnout because you have too much on your plate
  • You feel like you are neither a good enough parent nor a good enough worker
  • Having a hard time finding the right balance in disciplining your child
  • Feeling worried about the quality of nutrition your child receives
  • Feeling overwhelmed when your kid has tantrums or misbehaves

It’s absolutely normal to feel a range of emotions about parenting. It can be as joyful as it can be scary and challenging. Being a parent is a lot of work, and both positive and negative feelings are a natural response.

It’s okay to allow yourself to feel a range of different emotions about parenting. Getting proper support could help you navigate through this challenge with more ease. Speaking to someone in France who can understand your doubts and feelings can help you form a path forward that works for you and your family.
