About Huckleberry House Runaway Helpline

As Columbus’ only 24-hour crisis shelter for youth ages 12-17, our doors are always open. If you’re dealing with communication issues, abuse, violence, or any other every day situation that makes it difficult or unsafe for you to stay at home, our Crisis Shelter provides a safe alternative to the streets. Our helpline can be contacted at any time to seek information, gather resources or to talk through other options to ensure young people feel safe and supported while they go through life's tough situations.

Huck House will help young people and families navigate through these situations that are causing them to feel uneasy and assist with a plan for families to be empowered with the tools or resources that will help them move forward.
