Sawa is Palestinian organization that was founded in 1998 by a group of volunteers. The heart of Sawa's work is the free national helpline (toll-free number, available in all Palestinian telecommunications networks: 164) providing primary psychosocial support, guidance, and referrals for women, children, and families affected by violence, abuse, or neglect. The center also offers medical and legal consultations via phone and email, along with referrals to relevant institutions based on the callers' needs.
