Depression can affect people in many different ways, but people who are depressed often report feeling sad, hopeless, or worthless. Depression can seriously impact your quality of life, but it is treatable.

In Taiwan, there are 4 free hotlines that support people experiencing the symptoms of depression. If you notice these signs of depression, consider reaching out:

  • You could feel slower in your movement, speech, and reactions than usual
  • Things that used to bring you joy mean nothing to you now
