Find support for dementia and Alzheimer's from a helpline in Ireland

Noticing a decline in your abilities and a change in who you are as a person can be scary. Reach out to any of 9 hotlines in Ireland that support with dementia and Alzheimer's if you’re experiencing the following symptoms:

  • Not caring about what others feel
  • Losing balance and falling easily
  • Difficulties concentrating on reading or writing
  • Having trouble making simple calculations
  • Feeling depressed and pessimistic for no obvious reason
  • Getting confused over tasks that you used to perform routinely
  • Being confused and uncertain about what is happening
  • Taking longer to complete tasks you perform regularly

Although everyone responds to the occurrence of dementia and Alzheimer’s differently, most people manage the condition very well. You might, however, also experience episodes of fear and pessimism. These are natural responses to the changes occurring.

Receiving the diagnosis of dementia and Alzheimer’s can be a life-changing experience. Trying to figure it out on your own might be extremely challenging. Consider reaching out to people in Ireland who understand to help you cope better.
