Get free help with relationship struggles from a hotline in South Africa

If you're feeling dissatisfied in your relationship, help is available. Many people experience relationship problems as a result of poor communication, infidelity, life circumstances, and unresolved trauma. In South Africa, 5 hotlines provide support with relationships. Reach out if you can relate to any of the following challenges in your relationship:

  • Your sexual appetites differ significantly
  • You and/or your partner become spiteful or passive-aggressive in a disagreement
  • A lack of openness and emotional intimacy
  • You feel the conversation with your partner has started to dwindle
  • You’re in a long-distance relationship
  • You feel insecure about how attractive you are to your partner
  • You disagree about money and financial affairs
  • You argue and bicker a lot

If your relationship has become unhealthy, you may be feeling insecure. It can be confusing when the person you love has let you down in some way. Doubt can creep in and make you question your future together. It's normal to feel conflicted. If you're being abused, you may be scared about making decisions in your relationship including leaving your partner.

You may feel that no one could truly get what you’re going through in your relationship. Talking to a dedicated helpline counselor or volunteer in South Africa about your struggles can help you feel better and find a path forward that works for you.

For free and confidential support with relationships, consider contacting a hotline in South Africa today.
