About Talk Hope

Talk Hope Bangladesh is a free, confidential and inclusive mental health and suicide prevention helpline dedicated to supporting anyone in Bangladesh experiencing emotional distress, mental health challenges, loneliness, anxiety, depression, overwhelming stress, self-harm concerns, or suicidal thoughts. We welcome children, adolescents, adults, parents, students, professionals, and individuals from all communities, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Our trained responders are available 24/7 through phone, WhatsApp, SMS, and online chat, providing compassionate, non-judgmental emotional support, crisis intervention, active listening, safety planning, and referrals to appropriate mental health professionals and services when needed. We also facilitate access to in-person psychological support through our network of qualified psychologists in Dhaka.

Founded by engineer, researcher, and social entrepreneur Md Saddam Hossain Roni, Talk Hope Bangladesh is a youth-led initiative committed to reducing suicide, promoting emotional wellbeing, and improving access to mental health support across the country. Beyond crisis support, we work to raise mental health awareness through education, community outreach, Mental Health First Aid training, and early intervention programs.

Everyone deserves to be heard with dignity, empathy, and respect. If you are feeling overwhelmed or simply need someone to listen, Talk Hope Bangladesh is here for you—24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You do not have to face life's challenges alone.
