Are you experiencing anxiety? Contacting a free, confidential hotline in Singapore can help.

Many people experience anxiety at some point in their lives. Even though it may be different for each person, you aren't alone in feeling anxious. If you're struggling with anxiety or worry, or think you might be having a panic attack, there are 6 helplines in Singapore who can understand how you're feeling. The following are just some examples of anxiety symptoms:

  • Struggling to concentrate or focus because you're distracted by worrying
  • Feeling weak or exhausted by your thoughts
  • Overthinking social situations or conversations
  • Feeling like you can't calm down
  • Shutting off in situations where you feel threatened
  • Feeling like something bad is going to happen
  • Feeling like you're out of control
  • Struggling to control thoughts and feelings that are centered around things you're worried about

All of these are normal symptoms of anxiety. Some of these are similar to what you might feel during stressful times, but with anxiety, you might feel these even when there isn't anything causing you to be stressed. Some people also experience anxiety or panic attacks, which are sudden moments of very intense panic or fear.

Tackling these thoughts and feelings on your own can be really difficult, but it's important to know that there are ways to manage your anxiety. There are people in Singapore who understand and want to help you get through this.

If you feel like you might need support with anxiety, try reaching out to a hotline in Singapore. It's free and confidential.
