Some families are more complicated than others. Separation, divorce, abuse, grief, financial strife and neglect are just a few of the family matters that could be causing you concern. You are never alone. If you are experiencing any of the following in your home or family life, there are 8 in Pennsylvania, United States where you can get the understanding and support that you need:

  • Co-dependency, in which a family member relies on you for emotional, mental or physical support.
  • A family member suffering from disability, illness or mental health problems.
  • Trauma or loss of a loved one and its after effects on your family.
  • A parent or sibling who suffers from addiction, mental illness, illness or disability.
  • A family member who puts pressure on you and tries to control you.
  • Problems around separation and divorce, including jealousy, living with new family members and more.
  • Stress in the family, caused by issues with housing, money or unemployment.
  • Personality clashes, arguments and fights in your family.

Family problems can be complicated. When different personalities are forced to live together under one roof, there's bound to be conflict. For some families, the conflict is severe and it can leave you feeling trapped, like you're living in a prison rather than a loving home.
