The Royal British Legion Helpline offers free and confidential support and information by phone and online chat. We are here to help veterans in England, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as those who are living overseas, and may be struggling or looking for support with abuse & domestic violence, anxiety, bullying, Dementia & Alzheimer's, depression, eating & body image, family issues, gambling, gender & sexual identity, grief & loss, loneliness, parenting, pregnancy & abortion, relationships, school or work issues, self-harm, sexual abuse, stress, substance use, suicide, supporting a friend or family member, trauma & PTSD.

Regardless of what you're experiencing, whether it's a mental health crisis or wellbeing support, we will support you, for free. We're committed to suicide prevention, so if you are having thoughts of suicide or thinking about killing yourself, we are here to listen and support you.

When you contact us you will talk with one our friendly and supportive counselors who will listen to you with empathy and understanding, and work together with you to find a meaningful way forward. They are experienced in knowing how to help people who have challenges like what you are going through.
