About Champlain District Crisis Line

Champlain District Crisis Line is dedicated to providing 24/7, free, compassionate, and confidential support by phone. We help everyone, adults in Ontario, Canada who may be experiencing emotional distress related to abuse & domestic violence, anxiety, bullying, Dementia & Alzheimer's, depression, eating & body image, family issues, gambling, gender & sexual identity, grief & loss, loneliness, parenting, pregnancy & abortion, relationships, school or work issues, self-harm, sexual abuse, stress, substance use, suicide, supporting a friend or family member, physical illness, trauma & PTSD.

We are available to talk with you about any kind of experience relating to mental health, from a mental health crisis through to general well-being. Our support is free. We're committed to suicide prevention, so if you are having thoughts of suicide or thinking about killing yourself, we are here to listen and support you.

When you reach out to us you will talk with one of our friendly and supportive counselors who will collaborate with you to find solutions while giving you an empathetic and compassionate ear. They have expertise and understanding in how to help people going through difficulties similar to yours. Regardless of your age, gender, ethnicity, or religious beliefs, we will listen in a supportive and non-judgmental capacity. Our helpline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We are always ready to support you.
