If you’re in Upper Austria, Austria and you’re experiencing a loss in your thinking capacities, you can get free support from 1 hotlines. Developing dementia and Alzheimer's can be a scary and life-changing experience. These are some of the common symptoms of the disease:

  • Confusion about place, like getting confused about where you are at the moment
  • Being confused and uncertain about what is happening
  • You become paranoid and feel like everyone is working against you
  • Losing balance and falling easily
  • Having trouble with coordination and becoming clumsy
  • Confusion about time, mixing past with present events
  • Becoming emotionally numb at times
  • Feeling depressed and pessimistic for no obvious reason
