Crisis Support Service of Alameda County offers 24/7, free, compassionate and confidential support by phone and text message (SMS). We are here to help everyone in California, United States who may require support with abuse & domestic violence, anxiety, bullying, Dementia & Alzheimer's, depression, eating & body image, family issues, gambling, gender & sexual identity, grief & loss, loneliness, parenting, pregnancy & abortion, relationships, school or work issues, self-harm, sexual abuse, stress, substance use, suicide, supporting a friend or family member, trauma & PTSD.
Regardless of what you're experiencing, whether it's a mental health crisis or wellbeing support, we will support you, for free. We're committed to suicide prevention, so if you are having thoughts of suicide or thinking about killing yourself, we are here to listen and support you.
When you reach out to us you will talk with one our friendly and supportive counselors or volunteers who have experience in how to help people with similar experiences to your own. They will listen, express empathy and understanding, and assist you to find a way through your situation. Anyone can contact us, regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity or religious beliefs. We are always open. You can contact us for free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
