Get help with abuse and domestic violence from a hotline in Malawi

Domestic abuse is the act of controlling or dominating a spouse, partner, boyfriend/girlfriend or family member. The abuse doesn't have to be physical – it may be emotional, sexual, verbal or financial in nature.

If you are being psychologically, emotionally or physically harmed, you are not alone. Statistics show that one in three women and one in three men have experienced abuse and domestic violence. If you're looking for support, there are 5 abuse and domestic violence hotlines in Malawi. Reach out if this is happening:
