About Peer Support Line

The Peer Support Line is dedicated to providing 24/7, free and confidential support and information by phone. We are here for adults in Maine, United States who may need emotional support with abuse & domestic violence, anxiety, bullying, Dementia & Alzheimer's, depression, eating & body image, family issues, gambling, gender & sexual identity, grief & loss, loneliness, parenting, pregnancy & abortion, relationships, school or work issues, self-harm, sexual abuse, stress, substance use, suicide, supporting a friend or family member, trauma & PTSD.

Our free support is provided for all mental health issues, whether you're in crisis or just need someone to talk to. You can contact us about anything that you're going through. As part of our commitment to preventing suicide, we are available to help you if you are considering suicide or harming yourself, or if you are noticing warning signs in a friend or family member

When you reach out to us you will talk with one our friendly and supportive peers who have experience in how to help people with similar experiences to your own. They will listen, express empathy and understanding, and assist you to find a way through your situation. Our helpline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We are always ready to support you.
