A Warm Line is a confidential, free phone service offering emotional support. It is a safe space for you when you need someone to talk to, with calls answered by those of us with a living recovery story from mental health or substance use. The Illinois Warm Line is staffed by people who identify as individuals with lived expertise. The lived experiences of our team members include mental health, substance use, trauma, chronic physical health conditions, justice involvement, child welfare, veterans, etc. Some team members also have lived experience with loved ones who are currently or previously experiencing their own lived experiences.
