Recovery from substance abuse and addiction is possible. It all starts with taking the first step to admit you have a problem with drugs or alcohol and seeking help.   • Needing more drugs or alcohol to feel the same effects (otherwise known as tolerance).
  • Having a short temper and being more irritable and aggressive than usual.

  • A loss of interest in activities previously enjoyed.

  • Using more of drugs or alcohol than was originally intended.
