Samaritans Mumbai is a helpline providing emotional support to anyone feeling stressed, distressed, depressed, or suicidal. Our services are free and our helpline provides anonymous, confidential and non-judgemental support.Samaritans Mumbai was the first branch of The Samaritans, UK, to be established outside of England. It has formerly been known as Samaritans Bombay and Samaritans Sahara.

Samaritans Mumbai has been actively working in the field of mental health and striving to support those in need since 1968. It is a fully qualified member of Befriender India, under the umbrella of Befrienders Worldwide, and works with its sister organizations in India and around the world.
