Are you being bullied at school, home, work or online? Contact a India helpline today.

Whether you’ve been bullied, online, at home, at school or at work, you are never alone. Support is always available. There are 21 helplines in India for the victims of bullying. Reach out today to connect with someone who understands how lonely and afraid you feel. If you resonate with any of the following, seek support from a helpline near you:

  • You have been socially isolated and made to feel different, ashamed and alone.
  • You have been victimised by cyber-bullies who share secrets, rumours or negative comments about you.
  • You have been excluded from activities and social groups in a hurtful or humiliating way.
  • Others have openly excluded you from social groups or activities.
  • Someone has shared private, negative, false or harmful pictures, content or rumours about you.
  • Others have repeatedly called you names and laughed at, teased and taunted you.
  • You have been threatened or physically harassed by others on a regular basis.
  • One or more people have spread rumours about you, whether true or untrue.

There are countless ways in which bullies can victimise others. Some are public and overt, while others are private and covert. Although you might feel rejected, self-conscious and afraid, you are not alone. Bullying is never a true reflection of who you are, how you look, or your life’s potential.

The victims of bullying are always innocent, and bullying is never deserved. Although you may feel trapped, alone or incapable, there are people in India who care and can provide you support. Helpline volunteers and counselors will offer you a listening ear and will work through difficult emotions with you.
