Unable to stop gambling? Hotline support is available in India

If you can't stop gambling despite the negative impact it's had on you and your loved ones, you may feel guilty, ashamed, and hopeless. But there is hope. You can get free support to stop gambling from one of 12 hotlines in India. Reach out if you relate to the following:

  • Gambling as a way to relieve negative emotions.
  • Using borrowed money to gamble.
  • Denying that you have a gambling problem.
  • Skipping work, family and other important commitments to gamble.
  • Being told by others that you have a gambling problem.
  • Getting into debt as a result of gambling.
  • Losing track of time while gambling.
  • Experiencing stress and anxiety as a result of your gambling habits.

It may feel like you'll never be able to recuperate your losses and the future may look bleak. But there is a way out. With the right support, you can stop gambling and work toward a brighter future.

You may be hesitant to reach out for help. Perhaps you feel that you'll be judged or that you're beyond help. Although you may feel that way, there are kind and compassionate helpline volunteers and counselors from India who care about what you're going through and who want to support you.

If you think you might need support with gambling today, consider contacting a helpline in India for free, confidential help.
