English translation: The Samaritan Society is a volunteer-led, independent, non-religious organization established in Hong Kong in 1974 to provide emotional support to people feeling hopeless and suicidal. We believe that being heard means the difference between life and death. Our core service is a 24/7/365 multilingual telephone hotline that anyone can call for unbiased, unconditional emotional support.
