Are you the victim of bullying and harassment? Reach out to a Hong Kong hotline today.

Whether you’ve been bullied, online, at home, at school or at work, you are never alone. Support is always available. There are 9 helplines in Hong Kong for the victims of bullying. Reach out today to connect with someone who understands how lonely and afraid you feel. If you resonate with any of the following, seek support from a helpline near you:

  • Others have frequently shamed, taunted or threatened you on social media.
  • One or more people have repeatedly sworn at, called names, taunted or physically harassed you.
  • You have been threatened or physically harassed by others on a regular basis.
  • You have been threatened or physically tripped, pushed, hit, kicked or spat at by someone.
  • You have been socially isolated and made to feel different, ashamed and alone.
  • You have been taunted, teased, threatened or harmed by others.
  • You have been trolled, insulted or humiliated on social media.
  • One or more people have spread rumours about you, whether true or untrue.

There are countless ways in which bullies can victimise others. Some are public and overt, while others are private and covert. Although you might feel rejected, self-conscious and afraid, you are not alone. Bullying is never a true reflection of who you are, how you look, or your life’s potential.

Bullying is commonplace, affecting people from every walk of life, but that doesn’t make it right. Bullies should not define who you are or the paths you take in life. Consider reaching out to a helpline in Hong Kong to talk with someone who understands what you're going through and how you feel.
