Substance abuse and drugs and alcohol addiction helplines are available in Poland

Recovery from substance abuse and addiction is possible. It all starts with taking the first step to admit you have a problem with drugs or alcohol and seeking help. You can get support for yourself or a loved on by contacting one of 9 hotlines in Poland if you notice these symptoms:

  • Using illegal means to obtain drugs or alcohol.
  • Spending money on drugs or alcohol despite it being unaffordable.
  • Being secretive and dishonest about when and how often you use drugs or alcohol and with whom.
  • Being unable to stop using drugs or alcohol despite the negative consequences it is causing.
  • Sudden weight gain or weight loss.
  • Feeling an urge to use drugs, alcohol or other substances regularly.
  • Low mood including feelings of hopelessness, sadness or depression
  • Having a short temper and being more irritable and aggressive than usual.

When you're grappling with drug or alcohol abuse, recovery may seem impossible. It may feel like nobody and nothing can help you. However, substance abuse and addiction is treatable. Others have recovered and so can you. Healing starts with the right support.

If you or someone you care about is struggling with substance-related problems, you can get confidential, zero-judgement support from a hotline in Poland. Recovery advocates will meet you where you're at. Whether you need a listening ear, or you're ready to start treatment, you can get the support you need.
