Don't suffer in silence. Get in touch with a helpline in Hong Kong for support with trauma and PTSD

It is never easy to deal with traumatic experiences and resulting PTSD symptoms. There are 8 in Hong Kong that can help you begin your healing journey. Although each person’s experience of trauma and PTSD is unique, there are some common symptoms which include:

  • Overwhelming negative emotions such as guilt, shame, sadness and anxiety
  • Self-harming or destructive behaviour
  • Experiencing 'hypervigilance' or extreme alertness
  • Being unable to remember details of the traumatic event
  • Noticing tastes, smells or sounds connected to the trauma
  • Becoming isolated, withdrawn and avoiding social situations
  • Continued negative thoughts about a traumatic experience
  • Frequent nightmares and disturbed sleep patterns

If you have any of these symptoms, reach out for help – you don’t have to be alone in your struggle. There is hope on the horizon and people who understand what you are going through.
