Extreme stress can seriously impact your mental health and quality of life. If you're feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope with your responsibilities, help is available. You can get support from 23 helplines in India. Reach out if you're experiencing any of the following:

  • Teeth grinding and clenching jaw.
  • Having difficulty making decisions and judgments.
  • Irritable, angry, and impatient.
  • Difficulty concentrating and focusing.
  • Digestive issues that result in diarrhea, constipation, heart burn, or digestive disorders.
  • Rapid heartbeat and chest pain.
  • High blood pressure and hypertension.
  • Relying on drugs or alcohol to relax or feel better.

It's hard to relax and switch off when your mind is racing with thoughts about work, relationships, family, finances and anything else that's stressing you out. The worry and fear you experience consumes a lot of mental energy, making it hard to keep up with life's demands. However, there are healthy ways to cope.
